Opus hosted our Back to School Social last fall for Woods Charter School. The setting is perfect, the space big enough for our community but still intimate for smaller groups. The decor and attention to details done to perfection. I am looking forward to the faculty end of school gathering here in June. I know it will be amazing.

We hosted my daughter's baby shower at OPUS and can't say enough about the venue and the staff: Folks were unbelievably good to work with and checked on us to make sure our every need was met....even found us a caterer! The venue is a beautiful mix of southern grace and modern amenities from the well stocked kitchen and eclectic china and silverware to the beautiful wooden beams! There are places one can sit if they so desire to be away from the crowd and an outside space that can be used for dancing or seating that is large enough to have a band if desired. My daughter is one who knows exactly what she wants and I admit being concerned about holding this at a place she had not vetted and approved: She termed the day as perfect! I agree. Kudos and much gratitude to the OPUS staff.

I have professionally planned many multi-day events for 50 to 300 people over the past 27 years. Earlier this year, I was looking for a casual, yet professional, venue to celebrate my wife's retirement from UNC-CH with about 50 to 70 of her friends and colleagues. When I saw the facilities at Opus, I looked no further. The staff of Opus were very accommodating and allowed us to stage the event to our tastes and desires.
